One persons dream became a reality when BOSS air suspension started manufacturing and selling great quality air bags. Firstly it was load assist kits for small commercial vehicles and 4WD’s. They did this out of its small factory in Queensland, Australia in the 1990’s. As the number of products grew, so did the demand and in turn the business.
BOSS now manufacture in a number of locations and ship products around the world. From our operations in Australia, Spain, Canada, New Zealand, Taiwan & USA. In addition to vehicles, motor homes, caravans and trailers we have extended our markets to include industry and agricultural applications.

Airbags
One of the toughest airbags in the world.
Every air bag is manufactured to specific BOSS specification in the BOSS factory and is designed for Australian Conditions. There is only 1 machine in the world that is capable of making bags to BOSS specifications. Thats what it does all day every day. The Air Bag has “cord angle weaving” and multi strand strengthening to produce. Airbags that can exceed 1000PSI hydrostatic pressure. It has a burst pressure of 480 PSI in shock pressure testing. Which is the most brutal test that can be done, thats 2 or 3 times higher than other manufacturers.
Every bag has a blend of natural rubber, steel cords and ballistic woven, reinforcing, tough as nails. The 17 hi tensile rings are formed and then the rubber and ballistic weave is placed around a mould. Then it is subject to high pressure ( 0ver 500PSI) curing. The process takes 20 minutes per bag and every bag is allowed to cool naturally. These are possibly the toughest bags in the world and since construction of the first bag in 2005, not 1 bag has failed from bursting. 15,000 vehicles in Australia ride on BOSS air bags and love it.
Load Assist Kits

This airbag suspension kit gives your vehicle air adjustable rear suspension by using the BOSS airbag and 6mm thick brackets. Thus enabling vehicles to carry the load they were intended to. BOSS load assist kits are easy to fit and most simply bolt on using basic hand tools. Then when filled with air, raise the rear end ( when under load) to make the vehicle level again. Therefore making the vehicle safer when loaded by keeping the front wheels in contact with the road. Eliminating sway and improving cornering (wet or dry).
Full coil replacement bag kits are also available for popular coil 4wds and sedans. Also BOSS “on board air” control kits can be added to all load assist kits.
Aluminium Airtanks
Light Weight, Heat Treated No Rust aluminium Brackets.
BOSS manufactures lightweight T6 heat treated aluminium air tanks, with a range of tank sizes, port configurations and port sizes. Furthermore our tanks are rust free, providing clean air for valves.
Also all 9L (3 gallon) and 15L (5 gallon) tanks can be mounted in 3 angles – on end, upright or upside down and still keep drain port at bottom with our unique design. Mounting legs included.
Shot blasted anodized or chrome finish. Also recommended working pressure is 0-170psi. While maximum pressure is 400psi. Sizes range from 2 litres through to 15 litres with extruded centre section and stamped ends.

Performance of other brand compressors are sometimes impressive. However they wear out quickly and take longer and longer to recover your air needs. That’s if they re-start under load!BOSS air compressors use the latest technology to deliver compressors that perform tirelessly for many years of service. Our PX-02 12V compressor was designed for filling small air tanks. Or more importantly the BOSS in-cab air kits where the bags are directly filled from the compressor. Our BOSS PX-07 is the killer of all compressors. It boasts and impressive 3.5cfm flow rate and 100% duty cycle. We even carry all the parts should you need to refresh the performance after a few years of hard use. The PX-07 finds itself in everything from lowriders, 4×4 vehicles, industrial equipment and roadside service.
